Lauren, I need you to tell me how to get a
decent moon shot. This is supposed to be the

There is a huge outbreak of these stinkbugs. The solution

When I was a kid, we used to wrap these in snow
and throw them at each other. Fun times but a
bunch of big bruises!

With all the beautiful scenery of the last two
weeks, there is still nothing prettier than home!
September 14
A lot of very flat land on the way home.

Delicate Arch in the park. Very busy spot. We decided
to just zoom in rather than fight the crowd.
Skyline Arch over 130 feet high and 70 wide. Could walk
right to the base of it, and not crowded at all.
"The Spectacles" another great arch.

Balanced Rock in Arches NP in Utah. This place is
absolutely amazing with its arches, fins, spires,
and cool shapes and figures.
Sunset at Arches. Mom and I were in awe of
the wonder of God's creation.

Mesa Verde means "green table", and these views
throughout the park are awesome.
September 8, 2012
Spruce Tree House, a cliff dwelling built about
600 AD. Mesa Verde NP. One of 600 or so
different size Anasazi ingenious homes in the park.

Durango-Silverton Narrow Gauge RR. Frighteningly
close to a 1000 foot drop to a gorge.
A point out the train window and quick click.
Emma I knew you would be proud of me.
September 5, 2012
More gorgeous scenery in NM. Never really
seems to get boring.
September 4
The church at Chimayo a very interesting
community along the way to Taos.

There were way too many great exhibits
at the Museum of International Folk Art,
but this one spoke to me. It is a cradle
and sunshade, and I started to take it
for Little Critter.
September 1
Windmill farms are everywhere out here
generating a lot of power. These are about 200 feet
high and turn about 23 times a minute.
